Refund policy
Returns (If Applicable)
Our policy lasts 14 days from the date of purchase. If 14 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return:

Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it

It must be in original packaging where applicable

You must provide proof of purchase (order number, receipt, or transaction record)
We strongly recommend confirming sizing in store or contacting us prior to purchase if you are unsure.
Return Exclusions
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

Any item that has been used in the water

Wetsuits, gloves, socks, hoods, rash vests, and other apparel that has been worn, tried on, or show signs of use

Items that have been altered, cut, modified, or fitted, including rigging, custom builds, cut line, or rubbers

Clearance or sale items

Gift cards

Any item returned in a condition that is not resellable
Hygiene and Wetsuit Policy
Due to hygiene reasons, wetsuits, gloves, socks, hoods, rash vests, and similar intimate apparel cannot be returned or exchanged for sizing or change of mind if they have been tried on, worn, or show any signs of use.
This includes items that have been:

Tried on without appropriate underlayers

Exposed to water, sweat, sunscreen, deodorant, or body oils
We strongly recommend confirming sizing in store or contacting us prior to purchase if you are unsure.
Change of Mind Returns
We may offer a exchange, or store credit for change of mind returns where the item is:

Returned within 14 days

Unused and in original condition

Returned with all original packaging, tags, and accessories
Where a return is accepted for change of mind, shipping costs are non refundable.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed back to the original method of payment.
Please allow time for your bank or card provider to process the refund. Processing times may vary.
Exchanges (If Applicable)
We only replace items if they are faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
If you need to exchange an item, please contact us first so we can confirm stock availability and the best way to proceed.
Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If you believe your item is faulty, damaged in transit, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible with:

Photos showing the problem
We will assess the issue and work with you to determine the appropriate outcome.
Special Order and Custom Items
Items ordered specifically at a customer’s request, including special order sizes, colours, configurations, or products not normally stocked by Spear West, are non refundable and non exchangeable.
Special order items cannot be returned for change of mind, sizing, or preference once the order has been placed.
Gift Returns
If an item was purchased as a gift, proof of purchase is required for any return or exchange. Where approved, a store credit may be issued instead of a refund.

You are responsible for paying your own return postage costs. Postage costs are non refundable.
If a refund is approved, the cost of return postage will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on your location, delivery times for exchanged items may vary.
We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we do not guarantee receipt of returned items.

Returns sent without contacting us first may take longer to process.
If you haven’t received a refund after 30 days, please check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
